Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in automotive, mechanical, electrical or software engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of professional experience in automotive manufacturing, validation, testing, or engineering.
• Experience with data analysis, data mining, and trend identification.
• Knowledge of CAN, LIN, and/or Ethernet protocols.
• Hands-on experience with CANalyzer, CANoe, Vector or similar vehicle network analysis tools.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot vehicle systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, analyze, and resolve issues during vehicle commissioning and software validation.
• Support testing and validation of vehicle software, functions, and diagnostic systems on the production floor.
• Analyze data to identify root causes and propose corrective actions.
• Develop troubleshooting processes for production commissioning stations.
• Generate reports and dashboards to track validation results and quality trends.
• Collaborate with validation, diagnostics, manufacturing, and engineering teams for improvement.
• Manage defect tracking and monitor issue resolution.
• Interpret and visualize CAN logs, sensor data, ECU traces, and diagnostics.
• Support scalable data storage, retrieval, and reporting solutions as validation grows.
• Apply AI and advanced analytics to optimize fault-finding and validation testing.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot data loggers and recording equipment.
