Position Overview
Join a cutting-edge automotive manufacturing environment where you will serve as a key contributor between Research & Development and Production teams. This role focuses on analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving issues related to vehicle commissioning, software validation, diagnostics, and production data. You will leverage data-driven insights to improve vehicle quality, manufacturing efficiency, and system performance throughout the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate, analyze, and resolve issues identified during electronic vehicle commissioning and software validation activities.
- Support implementation, testing, and validation of vehicle software, functions, and diagnostic systems on the production floor.
- Analyze commissioning, functional, and diagnostic data to identify root causes of failures and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop and refine guided troubleshooting processes for production commissioning stations.
- Generate reports, dashboards, and key performance metrics to track validation results, system performance, and quality trends.
- Partner with validation, diagnostics, manufacturing, and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage defect tracking activities, monitor issue resolution, and identify recurring trends requiring long-term solutions.
- Interpret and visualize large datasets, including CAN logs, sensor data, ECU traces, and diagnostic information.
- Support scalable data storage, retrieval, and reporting solutions as validation volumes grow.
- Utilize AI and advanced analytics techniques to optimize fault-finding, validation testing, and process improvements.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot data loggers and recording equipment used across validation and testing environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline. Equivalent experience may be considered.
- 4+ years of professional experience, preferably within automotive manufacturing, validation, testing, or engineering environments.
- Understanding of engineering and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with data analysis, data mining, and trend identification.
- Knowledge of CAN, LIN, and/or Ethernet communication protocols.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as CANalyzer, CANoe, Vector, or similar vehicle network analysis platforms.
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics and troubleshoot vehicle systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) testing and test automation.
- Programming experience with C++, C#, Java, or similar languages.
- Experience working with automotive validation, diagnostics, software verification, or vehicle commissioning processes.
- Familiarity with dashboarding, reporting tools, and large-scale engineering data environments.
