Job summary

General Motors seeks a Senior Software Test Engineer to lead automated data-collection validation for on-vehicle and bench systems. You’ll own validation plans, drive CI/CD pipelines, and ensure test coverage across bench and vehicle campaigns.

You will collaborate with SW and platform teams to improve data quality, reliability, and performance, enabling scalable validation for ADAS/AV programs in a hybrid work setting at Milford, MI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer/Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of engineering/technical experience.
• Hands-on experience with on-vehicle or bench and interpreting associated logs and metrics.

Responsibilities

• Own RADC validation for key programs including test planning, execution (bench and vehicle), and defect triage for data recording behavior.
• Develop, maintain, and extend RADC CI/CD and validation automation (Autobot, ATP/Jenkins), including reusable pipelines, scripts, and AI-assisted workflows.
• Lead CI/CD bench readiness for RADC benches: ensure hardware and software baselines are aligned with target configurations and automated flashing flows.
• Design and execute performance and quality benchmarks for VTM tasks, and analyze upload latency, completeness, and data integrity.
• Set up and maintain RADC benches with ECU wiring, power supply, and Autobot integration, ensuring fleet-representative test configurations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to align validation priorities and drive issue resolution.
