Sheehy Auto Stores in Alexandria, VA is seeking an experienced Deal Poster to join our Accounting Team. You will accurately record and manage financial transactions for vehicle sales, purchases, and related activities, ensuring the accuracy of our accounting records in a fast-paced dealership environment.

The ideal candidate will balance high-volume accounts, work with QuickBooks and Reynolds & Reynolds, and demonstrate strong attention to detail, independence, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
• Experience balancing large volume accounts in a dealership setting.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Authorized to work in the USA and pass background checks.
• Valid driver’s license.

Requirements

• Knowledge of accounting software (i.e., QuickBooks)
• Previous dealership experience is preferred
• Reynolds & Reynolds experience preferred
• Ability to balance large volume accounts
• Detail-oriented skills with strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Fast learner who is open to change and able to handle a demanding environment
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Strong communication and people skills - both written and verbal
• Authorized to work in the USA
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background screening, MVR, and drug test
• Must have a valid driver's license
