Job summary

Hutch Auto Group in Paintsville, KY is seeking friendly Automotive Customer Service Representatives (BDC) to assist customers with vehicle sales inquiries, schedule service appointments, and provide top-notch support in our Business Development Center.

You will work with both Sales and Service while maintaining CRM records and coordinating appointments. Prior automotive experience is a plus but not required; strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service or call center experience preferred.
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
• Ability to learn CRM and scheduling software.
• Reliable, team-oriented and customer-focused.

Responsibilities

We’re seeking friendly, courteous Automotive Customer Service Representatives (BDC) to assist customers with vehicle sales inquiries, schedule service appointments, and provide excellent customer support in our Business Development Center.

You'll work with both our Sales and Service Departments, helping customers get the information they need, scheduling appointments, and following up to ensure a positive experience.

We're looking for someone who enjoys talking with people, communicates well over the phone, and takes pride in providing friendly, professional service.

Previous automotive dealership experience is a plus, but not required. Candidates with customer service, call center, appointment scheduling, retail, hospitality, or sales experience are encouraged to apply!

What You’ll Do:

• Respond to incoming calls, emails, and online customer inquiries.
• Contact prospective and existing customers to schedule sales and service appointments.
• Follow up with customers regarding vehicle inquiries, service needs, and upcoming appointments.
• Provide accurate information about dealership services and appointment availability.
• Maintain customer records and document communications in the dealership's CRM system.
• Coordinate with Sales and Service team members to ensure appointments and customer requests are handled promptly.
• Help maintain strong customer relationships and a positive dealership experience.
• Meet established appointment-setting, follow-up, and customer service goals.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous customer service, receptionist, call center, sales, or appointment scheduling experience preferred.
• Automotive dealership or BDC experience is a plus, but not required.
• Excellent phone etiquette, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, professional, and comfortable speaking with customers.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn CRM and scheduling software.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage incoming inquiries, follow-up calls, and appointment scheduling.
• Dependable, motivated, and able to work well with a team.
• Positive attitude and commitment to excellent customer service.
