Job summary

Downtown Ford Sacramento is seeking an automotive contract clerk to support Sales, Finance & Insurance, and Accounting teams in Sacramento, CA. You will review contracts, ensure accuracy, reconcile accounts, and maintain organized documentation in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Qualifications

• At least one year in Contract Clerk or accounting-related role.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers and financial documents.
• Experience with accounts payable/receivable or reconciliations.
• Proficiency in Excel and ability to learn dealership software.

Responsibilities

• Review new and used vehicle contracts for accuracy, completeness and signatures.
• Verify deal figures including prices, trade-ins, payoffs, taxes, fees, and rebates.
• Compare documentation against DMS to identify discrepancies and resolve.
• Coordinate with Sales, F&I and Payroll to adjust missing data and corrections.
• Reconcile contracts-in-transit, vehicle receivables, and related schedules.
• Track product/payments and chargebacks; support month-end closing and sales reporting.
