Universal Auto Group in Monrovia is seeking an Automotive Contract Clerk to handle a wide range of administrative and accounting duties, including processing vehicle contracts, trade management, payoffs, and ensuring all documentation is accurate and timely.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in automotive accounting, strong computer skills, Reynolds & Reynolds experience preferred, and a dependable, detail‑oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of automotive accounting or automotive experience.
• Excellent computer skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and follow through on tasks.

Responsibilities

• Process new and used vehicle contracts promptly, especially at month-end.
• Pay off trade-in vehicles as soon as funding is received.
• Process dealer trades and reconcile flooring.
• Reconcile schedules weekly and monthly to maintain clean records.
• Cancel and reconcile warranties as needed.
• Reconcile commissions and bonuses.
• Process wholesale sales.
