Job summary

Alpha One Ford in La Grange, TX is seeking an Automotive Collision Painter Helper to join our Collision Department. This is a full-time, in-person role where you will assist with refinishing and prepping vehicles to restore them to pre-accident condition.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of automotive refinishing or collision repair experience, can follow paint processes, work well in a team, and pass background and drug screenings.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in automotive refinishing or collision repair.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to comply with respirator and safety mask fit requirements.

Responsibilities

• Restore assigned vehicles to manufacturer-quality finish using refinishing procedures and repair orders.
• Mix and match paint colors to achieve precise OEM standards for application, curing, and material use.
• Follow paint manufacturer processes and guidelines to ensure accurate refinishing.
• Assist in prep work as needed to meet production goals.
• Ensure all paint operations, masking, and reassembly are completed thoroughly before returning vehicles to technicians.
• Adhere to hazardous waste disposal regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
• Perform other duties related to vehicle refinishing and repair as assigned.
