The role involves inspecting vehicles, masking areas for painting, mixing paints, applying coatings, and ensuring quality workmanship while maintaining a clean work environment and adhering to safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle inspections and marks areas for repair.
• Removes rust, grease and dirt prior to painting.
• Masks and protects parts not to be painted.
• Fills cavities and dents with appropriate filler material to attain smooth surface.
• Mixes paint according to manufacturer's specifications.
• Selects and mixes coating liquid to produce desired color.
• Paints surface using sprayer or brush to achieve quality repair.
• Inspects painted units for quality and corrects defects.
• Maintains a clean, efficient work area in the shop.
