Job summary

Rockland Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram in Nanuet, NY is seeking an Automotive Sales Professional to join a high-performing team. This full-time role offers uncapped earning potential and a strong commission/bonus structure, with comprehensive onboarding and ongoing training.

You will guide customers through the buying process, demonstrate vehicles, and manage follow-up across showroom, internet, phone, text, and email channels.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive dealership experience is preferred, but not required.
• Previous commissioned-sales experience is strongly preferred.
• At least one year of sales or customer-facing experience is a plus.
• Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to work a full-time retail automotive schedule, including assigned weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Conduct professional test drives and vehicle walkarounds.

• Maintain organized and consistent follow-up before and after the sale.
• Use VinSolutions to manage leads, appointments, customer activity, and follow-up.
• Work closely with sales and finance management to complete transactions.
• Coordinate deliveries and familiarize customers with their new vehicles.
• Build repeat and referral business through excellent customer service.
• Maintain current knowledge of inventory, vehicle technology, incentives, and programs.

COMPENSATION OPPORTUNITY

Our Sales Consultants are compensated through a combination of commissions, monthly volume incentives, performance bonuses, and additional earning opportunities.

The advertised range reflects the earning opportunity available within our sales department. Actual earnings depend on individual production, gross profit, customer satisfaction, completed transactions, and applicable bonuses. Earnings are not guaranteed.
