Auto Club Enterprises in Lincoln, RI is seeking a Casualty Claims Unit Manager to coordinate, direct, and oversee casualty claims activities of a team. The role emphasizes leadership, coaching, and ensuring regulatory and statutory compliance alongside customer service best practices.

You will review files, coach staff, resolve customer issues, and lead recruitment and development to support succession planning and performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4-6 years Automotive Claims handling experience required.
• 1-3 years Supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, planning and delegation skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead change effectively.

Responsibilities

• Review claim files regularly for quality and monitor performance metrics.
• Coach and counsel employees on performance in a timely manner.
• Resolve customer service issues and monitor satisfaction and needs.
• Manage recruitment and staff development for succession planning.
• Lead meetings to communicate goals and reinforce performance expectations.
• Maintain knowledge of current industry developments and best practices.
• Participate in committees and projects supporting organizational goals.
