Job summary

CareGard Warranty Services, part of Automotive Financial Group (AFG), seeks an automotive professional to adjudicate claims, apply diagnostic knowledge, and communicate with repair facilities and customers. The role emphasizes accuracy, multi-tasking, and service excellence in a fast-paced environment.

You will review claims, interpret policies, and coordinate payments while maintaining precise records and collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely, high-quality customer support.

Qualifications

• Onsite work in Grapevine, TX is required.
• Experience in automotive repair, diagnostics, parts operations, or related technical field.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair processes.
• Ability to apply automotive knowledge to evaluate repairs and claims.
• Hands-on repair experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and accurate data entry.
• Reliability and accountability in performance.

Responsibilities

• Understand and adjudicate claims by interpreting ancillary policies and contract terms.
• Review submitted claims for compliance with terms and coverage.
• Use diagnostic knowledge to evaluate repair recommendations and supporting docs.
• Assess repair information and contract coverage to adjudicate claims.
• Process approved claims through the online portal with complete documentation.
• Communicate with repair facilities about findings and payment coordination.
• Respond to inquiries about claims and coverage via phone, email, mail, and fax.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure accurate, timely customer service.
• Maintain accurate records, including data entry and follow-up tracking.
