Job summary

Protech Automotive Solutions in Bakersfield, CA is seeking a General Manager to run the center, manage risk, develop teammates, monitor client metrics, and oversee production and administration. This role requires leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on oversight in a fast-paced shop environment.

You will reward and retain talent, analyze monthly financials, and guide repairs to be thorough, safe, and profitable in line with SOPs, insurance partners, and industry standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years management experience in automotive or mobile business.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be eligible for company insurance.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must pass pre-employment screenings including background and MVR checks.
• Advanced understanding of estimates and repair processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall center operation and safety.
• Manage risk, production, and administration.
• Develop teammates and recognize high performers.
• Monitor financial metrics and identify opportunities.
• Ensure repairs are thorough, safe, and profitable per SOP.
