Jiffy Lube Cashiers are our front-line workers and the face of Jiffy Lube, responding to customer inquiries and providing world-class customer service. In addition to customer service duties, they perform store data entry of merchandise, inventory, supplies, and maintain the office area and customer lounge. This is a vital role in our stores and essential to our success. All team members receive comprehensive training from Jiffy Lube University, our award-winning program, which offers up to 32 college credits for certification.

Physical Qualifications: Cashiers must be able to stand for long periods on hard surfaces and work in environments with hot and cold temperatures, loud noises, and exhaust fumes.

Job Duties Include:

1. Answering phones in a friendly manner
2. Greeting guests and assisting with questions or concerns
3. Reviewing invoices and explaining services performed
4. Tendering payments via cash or credit
5. Explaining technician recommendations and repairs
6. Performing clerical duties, including inventory and data entry
7. Assisting technicians with customer greetings and vehicle courtesy

After certification, opportunities for advancement include roles such as Lube Technician or Customer Service Advisor.

Qualifications: Previous experience preferred, ideally with at least 1 year in automotive cashier or counter sales roles, such as at a dealership, tire center, repair shop, or quick Lube. Candidates with automotive office or business experience may also be considered.
