What You Will Do

All Lowe’s associates deliver quality customer service while maintaining a store that is clean, safe, and stocked with the products our customers need. As a Seasonal Associate, this means:

• Being friendly and professional, and responding quickly to customer and associate needs.
• Ensuring merchandise is stocked and presented appropriately for customers.
• Engaging in safe work practices and encouraging others to do the same.

Positions and Responsibilities

The Seasonal Associate may serve as an Assembler, Receiver/Stocker, Customer Service Associate (CSA) - Sales Floor, CSA Loader, or CSA Front End, typically on a temporary basis. All support Lowe’s mission by providing excellent customer service, including greeting customers, responding to inquiries, and assisting with locating, selecting, demonstrating, preparing, or loading merchandise. Specific duties vary by role but may include:

• Assembling merchandise (Assembler)
• Distributing and stocking merchandise (Receiver/Stocker)
• Loading merchandise for customers (CSA Loader)
• Assisting with shopping needs (CSA Sales Floor)
• Processing sales and returns (CSA Front End)

This list is not exhaustive, and employees may be asked to perform other duties as needed. Depending on hiring needs, applicants may be considered for any of these roles.

Travel Requirements

This role does not require regular travel but may occasionally involve travel to meetings, trainings, or support for neighboring stores.

What We're Looking For

• Hourly Seasonal: Scheduled for 10 to 40 hours per week, with potential for more based on store needs.
• Availability: Must be available for morning, afternoon, and evening shifts any day of the week; Receiver/Stocker roles may require late evening, night, or early morning shifts.
• Physical Ability: Able to perform tasks involving prolonged standing, sitting, and lifting.
• Lifting Requirements: At least 25 pounds (may lift more with assistance) for most roles; 10 pounds for CSA Front End.

Minimum Qualifications

What You Need To Succeed

• Assembler & Receiver/Stocker: Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• CSAs: At least 6 months of experience with computers and handheld devices for data entry and access.

Preferred Qualifications

• Assembler & Receiver/Stocker: 3 months of experience operating forklift/power equipment.
• CSAs: 6 months of retail experience in customer service, product sales, and related tasks.

If required by local law, you must obtain a salesperson license within 60 days of employment.
