Position Overview: Jiffy Lube Cashiers are our front-line workers and the face of Jiffy Lube, responding to customer inquiries and providing world-class customer service. Responsibilities include store data entry of merchandise, inventory, supplies, and maintaining the office area and customer lounge. This role is vital to our success, and all J-Team members receive comprehensive training through Jiffy Lube University, our award-winning program. Certification can earn up to 32 college credits, and we offer opportunities for advancement.

Physical Qualifications: Cashiers should expect to stand for long periods on hard surfaces like concrete or metal and work in environments with hot and cold temperatures, loud noises, and exhaust fumes.

Job Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To:

• Answering the phone in a friendly manner
• Greeting guests and assisting with questions or concerns
• Reviewing invoices and explaining services performed
• Tendering payments via cash or credit
• Explaining technicians' recommendations and repairs
• Handling clerical duties, including inventory and data entry
• Assisting technicians with customer greetings and vehicle courtesy

After certification, opportunities for advancement include roles such as Lube Technician or Customer Service Advisor.

Qualifications:

• Preferred: At least 1-year experience in automotive cashiering or counter sales, ideally in a dealership, tire center, repair shop, or quick Lube. Candidates with automotive office or business experience will also be considered.
