Description

We are currently seeking Cashiers to join our team!

Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide a warm welcome to incoming guests and ensure timely seating.
  • Make genuine connections and engage guests to ensure a personalized dining experience.
  • Follow proper phone etiquette when answering calls.
  • Bus tables, deliver food to guests, and maintain a clean, organized cashier area.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and complete cleaning tasks as assigned.
  • Respond to and resolve customer complaints and concerns.
  • Accommodate any special needs of guests, such as boosters, highchairs, or disabilities.
  • Take payments and manage the cash drawer.
  • Use menu knowledge to make knowledgeable suggestions to guests.
  • Enter all orders accurately into the POS system, bag orders, and manage takeout orders.
  • Thank guests as they leave and solicit feedback about their service and dining experience.
Qualifications

1. Reading, writing, and verbal communication skills required.
2. Mobility required during the entire shift.
3. Ability to transport and carry objects (such as high chairs) up to 15 pounds, up to 15 times per shift.
4. Ability to wipe down tabletops, table legs, pick up debris from the floor, and clean booth seats throughout the restaurant.

5. Ability to stand and exert a steady pace of mobility for up to four (4) hours.
6. Clear speech and attentive listening skills for effective communication with guests and team members.

Prior experience as a host, hostess, greeter, maitre d', crew member, team member, customer service associate, cashier, or similar front-of-house restaurant roles is highly desirable.
