Job summary

Executive Honda in Wallingford, CT seeks an Automotive Body Shop Advisor CSR to guide customers through the repair process and coordinate with insurance providers.

You will greet customers, review damage, schedule repairs, and help prepare light estimates while maintaining clear communication and timely status updates with clients.

Qualifications

• Shows strong organizational skills and teamwork.
• Experience with insurance claim processing is preferred.
• Familiarity with CCC One and CDK software is a plus.
• Ability to schedule and manage workflow efficiently.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable multitasking and performing basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, complete check-ins, review vehicle damage, and explain repair needs and processes.
• Provide consistent status updates, review repairs for satisfaction, and answer questions.
• Guide customers on required insurance documentation for appointments.
• Schedule estimates and repair appointments, and assist with insurance-related visits.
• Identify exterior vehicle panels, take photos, and assist with light visual estimates.
• Coordinate estimate approvals and review insurance estimates in the system.
• Communicate with insurance adjusters to arrange or extend rental vehicles.
• Send necessary documentation for supplemental payments and request supplements from insurers.

What you’ll do:

• Greet customers, complete check-ins, review vehicle damage, and explain repair needs and processes.
• Provide consistent status updates, review completed repairs for satisfaction and answer general customer questions.
• Guide customers on required documentation for insurance-related appointments.
• Schedule estimate and repair appointments and assist in setting up insurance related repair visits.
• Identify basic exterior vehicle panels, take photos, and help prepare light visual estimates.
• Coordinate estimate approvals and review/adjust insurance locked estimates within the system.
• Communicate with insurance adjusters to arrange or extend rental vehicles.
• Send necessary documentation for supplemental payments and request issued supplements from insurance providers.
