Job summary

Amentum is hiring Test Technicians for the Body and Chassis Dyno lab in Dearborn, MI. This position requires individuals with automotive knowledge and experience, either professional or as a hobby. Responsibilities include conducting various durability tests, data collection, and mechanical preparation.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma, mechanical and electrical knowledge, and fabrication experience. Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, and a competitive salary of $20 to $30 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• Proficient electrical and mechanical knowledge and skills.
• Good interpersonal, computer, oral and written skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete test-related duties as assigned during daily scheduling meetings.
• Conduct test stand sample preparation, fixturing, installation and removal.
• Meet all workplace health and safety requirements.

Skills

Proficient electrical and mechanical knowledge and skills

Good interpersonal, computer, oral and written skills

Fabrication experience in a general machine shop

Education

High School Diploma

Associate’s in Automotive Technology or equivalent experience

Tools
