Job summary

Amentum seeks an Emissions Lab Test Technician to support vehicle development in Allen Park, MI. You will perform emission testing on full vehicles, install instrumentation, and calibrate test systems.

This full-time role requires strong computer skills and the ability to drive a manual transmission, with the workweek primarily Monday–Friday. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package and requires lifting and physical work in a controlled environment with safety gear and PMHV

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates degree in Automotive Technology or two years college courses in automotive engineering; relevant experience preferred.
• Must have valid driver's license and ability to drive a manual transmission.

Responsibilities

• Test full vehicles on chassis rolls and conduct evaporative emission testing.
• Install vehicles on chassis roll, install instrumentation, checkout test systems, calibrate instrumentation.
• Operate site computer and follow video road speed trace during emission cycles and data validation/analysis.
