Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Welding skills (primarily TIG) required.
• Knowledge of engine, transmission, axle and exhaust components.
• Computer experience (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
• Basic hand tool usage.

Responsibilities

• Setting up components for welding according to specifications.
• Weld exhaust parts for testing.
• Fabricate brackets, mounts and fixtures for test setup.
• Preparing catalytic converters for testing.
• Installations of transmissions, transmission components, axles or exhaust components onto test rigs.
• Operate durability and performance test stands.
• Monitor ongoing tests and troubleshoot setup issues.
• Communicate testing requirements with requesters.
