Job summary

Grubbs Family of Dealerships in Houston is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Clerk to support the accounting department, ensuring deals and repair orders are billed accurately and on time. You’ll help maintain clean, auditable records and support the month-end close with accurate documentation.

You’ll collaborate with Sales, Service, and F&I to resolve discrepancies, verify costs and gross, and ensure timely posting. Strong Excel skills and dealership accounting familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers.
• Familiarity with DMS platforms (Tekion, CDK, Reynolds, etc.) a plus.
• Proficiency with Excel and general office software.
• Highly organized, dependable, and deadline-driven.
• Automotive dealership accounting or billing experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Bill out new and used vehicle deals accurately and within deadlines.
• Process repair orders, parts invoices, and related paperwork with complete accuracy.
• Verify documentation, costs, fees, and gross on every deal before posting.
• Maintain organized, reconciled records and support month-end close.
• Communicate with sales, service, and F&I to resolve discrepancies quickly.
• Keep deal jackets and accounting paperwork complete, audit-ready.
