Jobot in Oakland is seeking an Automotive Accounting Clerk to join a high-volume East Bay dealership. You will handle billing, accounts receivable, documentation, and contract records in a paperless environment, reporting to the Controller. The role requires accuracy, organization, and collaborative teamwork in a fast-paced accounting group.

Salary is $75,000–$80,000 per year with full benefits and on-site work. Prior dealership billing and AR experience is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable in a dealership is required.
• Strong understanding of billing and accounts receivable processes.
• Familiarity with contracts and titles.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Automotive dealership experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process billing transactions and invoices accurately and timely
• Post payments and reconcile accounts to maintain accurate financial records
• Must be able to audit Sales Documents and Titles for compliance
• Support accounts receivable and collections activities
• Maintain organized accounting, billing, and contract documentation
• Perform data entry with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Collaborate with team members to support daily accounting operations
