Vern Eide Automotive in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a dedicated BDC Service Coordinator. This full-time role serves as the primary contact for service inquiries via phone and email and schedules service appointments to meet customer needs.

Ideal candidates will have strong communication, multitasking, and CRM skills. The position offers daytime hours, working Monday through Friday with one Saturday per month, and a day off after a Saturday. Benefits are included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associates/bachelors preferred.
• Experience in customer service or automotive/service fields is a plus.

The BDC (Business Development Center) Service Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless communication between customers and the service department. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for customer service and problem-solving, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The pay is $18-$25 per hour, depending on experience. The work schedule includes Monday through Friday with one Saturday per month, and employees receive a day off after working a Saturday. Hours are 8 am to 6 pm.

Job Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all service inquiries received via phone and email.
• Schedule service appointments with customers to address their service needs.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions in the CRM system.
• Communicate with the service team to ensure that all customer requests are met promptly.
• Handle customer concerns or complaints and escalatissues when necessary.
• Perform follow-up calls after service to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Assist in coordinating special service promotions and campaigns.
• Monitor and respond to online service inquiries and appointment requests.
• Collaborate with other team members to meet and exceed service department goals.
• Restocking the coffee station and kitchen supplies.

Job Requirements

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational abilities.
• A high school diploma or equivalent and an associate's or bachelor’s degree are preferred.
• Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in an automotive or service-related field, is a plus, but not required.
• Confidence in answering and making outbound calls.
• Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong keyboarding/typing skills
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record.
