Job summary

Ed Napleton Automotive Group seeks a BDC/Call Agent Representative for Napleton Toyota of Urbana. You will handle internet inquiries and phone leads to generate appointments for the dealership sales teams, supporting both service and sales departments.

The role involves follow-up, scheduling, and driving customer engagement; automotive knowledge is helpful but not required. This is a chance to grow with a large, established automotive group.

Qualifications

• Excellent computer skills required.
• Knowledgeable to call center environment.
• Automotive experience is helpful but not required.
• Able to communicate persuasively to set appointments.
• Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen per local law/regulations.
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with driving policy.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming and outgoing phone calls and emails.
• Prospect follow-up calls, set appointments for service and sales, and gauge customer satisfaction.
• Answer customer internet inquiries by email and phone.
• Schedule sales appointments and reschedule no-shows.
• Contact customers based on current marketing incentives.
• Follow up to generate leads and close sales.
• Explain product performance and benefits to prospects and describe optional equipment.
• Follow up to encourage dealership visits.
• Maintain a prospect and owner follow-up system to foster repeat/referral business.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
