Job summary

USA GPC Genuine Parts Company in Murray, Utah, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for our NAPA retail store. You will leverage automotive knowledge, customer service expertise, and leadership to operate the store and support the Store Manager across all functions while maintaining active sales responsibilities.

You will coach team members, monitor inventory and labor, coordinate deliveries, and ensure safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in automotive after-market service or willingness to learn.
• Strong leadership and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner daily with Store Manager on operations, sales execution, inventory health, labor/scheduling alignment, and team performance.
• Actively sell and build customer relationships across retail and wholesale channels (in-store, phone, and external dealer/wholesale calls as needed).
• Model expected behaviors, processes, and customer standards; oversee opening and closing routines and safety checks.
• Monitor core store metrics and provide leadership oversight, coaching, and performance management.
