Job summary

Basney in South Bend, Indiana, is seeking a friendly Service Appointment Scheduler to join our service department. You will answer calls, schedule appointments, and support advisors with vehicle check-ins and checkouts.

A positive attitude, reliable transportation, and a high school diploma are preferred. Automotive experience is a plus; training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls for service department.
• Perform inbound and in-person appointment scheduling.
• Work from lists to perform outbound appointment scheduling.
• Assist Service Staff with vehicle check-in as needed.
• Assist and train under Service Advisors to fill Advisor position during vacation and sick days; commissions for fill-in days.
• Drive vehicles to/from service lane, stalls, and parking lot as needed.
• Retrieve and deliver vehicles from property locations when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls for service department
• Perform inbound call and in person appointment scheduling
• Work from lists to perform outbound appointment scheduling
• Assist Service Staff with vehicle check in as needed.
• Assist and train under Service Advisors to fill Advisor position during Vacation and Sick Days.
  • Commission earned per day filling in.
  • Create and manage repair orders for Inventory vehicles
• Drive vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed.
• Retrieve and deliver vehicles from property locations when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
