Job summary

Parks Ford of Wesley Chapel is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our dealership team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced automotive environment.

You will review, code, and process vendor invoices for two locations, reconcile statements, obtain approvals, and assist with light accounting tasks to keep our operations accurate and efficient.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills with proficiency in accounting systems.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Previous automotive dealership accounting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review, code expense accounts, and process vendor invoices for two dealerships.
• Post invoices to the appropriate general ledger accounts.
• Obtain department manager approvals when not documented on invoices.
• Reconcile invoices to vendor statements before payments are issued and request missing invoices as needed.
• Reconcile factory accounts payable statements on a monthly basis.
• Process lien payoff payments to lenders for customer trade-in payoff balances.
• Assist with various light accounting and administrative tasks as assigned.
