Payne Edinburg CDJR in Edinburg, TX is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our busy automotive accounting team. You will process vendor invoices, code expenses, reconcile statements, and ensure timely payments in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Ideal candidates have attention to detail, strong Excel/Office skills, and the ability to work independently or with a team. A high school diploma is required; accounting coursework or experience is preferred.

• Previous accounts payable or general accounting experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; accounting coursework or experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Receive, review, code, and process vendor invoices for payment.
• Verify invoices against purchase orders, receipts, and supporting documentation.
• Match invoices to appropriate dealership departments and expense accounts.
• Enter accounts payable invoices accurately into the dealership accounting system.
• Reconcile vendor statements and research outstanding balances or discrepancies.
• Prepare and process vendor payments in accordance with company policies.
• Maintain organized electronic and physical accounts payable files.
• Communicate with vendors regarding invoices, payment status, and account discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end closing procedures and accounts payable reconciliations.
• Ensure proper approval and documentation for all invoices and expenses.
• Monitor accounts payable aging and follow up on outstanding invoices.
• Assist with additional accounting duties as assigned by the Controller or Office Manager.
