You will match invoices to purchase orders, prepare payments, and assist with month-end closing, while ensuring proper approvals and strong vendor communication.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts payable or general accounting preferred.
• Automotive dealership accounting experience a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, code, and process vendor invoices for payment.
• Verify invoices against purchase orders, receipts, and supporting documentation.
• Match invoices to appropriate departments and expense accounts.
• Enter accounts payable invoices accurately into the dealership accounting system.
• Reconcile vendor statements and research outstanding balances or discrepancies.
• Prepare and process vendor payments in accordance with company policies.
• Maintain organized electronic and physical accounts payable files.
• Communicate with vendors regarding invoices, payment status, and account discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end closing procedures and accounts payable reconciliations.
• Ensure proper approval and documentation for all invoices and expenses.
• Monitor accounts payable aging and follow up on outstanding invoices.
• Assist with additional accounting duties as assigned by the Controller or Office Manager.
