Job summary

audi of west houston is seeking an AP Clerk to manage accounts payable processing, recording, and reconciliation for accurate financial operations. The role supports daily deposits, vendor interactions, and month-end tasks in a dealership setting.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years AP experience, basic accounting knowledge, and proficiency with CDK and Excel. This is a full-time on-site position in Houston, with competitive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• At least 1–2 years of automotive dealership AP or back-office experience.
• Basic accounting experience.
• Ability to use a computer and CDK and other automotive systems.
• Excellent communication and follow up.
• Computer literate; intermediate Microsoft Excel experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage daily deposits, and cash receipts.
• Responsible for all accounts payable and works with vendors on collections.
• Reconcile cash schedule and assist in monthly closings.
• Reconcile select accounts and schedules monthly, prior to month end.
• Post manual journal entries and any other posting as required.
• Issue purchase orders for supplies & invoices and monitor automated purchase order system, voiding and correcting errors.
• Complete end-of-month accounting reports.
• Assist in completion of annual review/audit.
• Send invoices, coding invoices, and processing payments
• Receipt of all monies received for dealership (sales/service/parts).
• Reconcile bank account.
• Process expense accruals.
• Office Filing / Scanning Invoices.
• Assist answering calls and transferring as to appropriate departments
