Sonic Automotive, Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking an Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Clerk for Audi of West Houston to support AP/AR processing and reconciliation in a dealership setting.

The role handles daily deposits, cash receipts, and payments with a schedule of Monday through Friday, offering $18.00–$22.00 per hour and a path to growth through internal advancement. Candidates must be authorized to work in the USA and pass pre-employment checks.

Qualifications

• Preferred: 1-2+ years in automotive dealership Accounts Payable or back office roles.
• Basic accounting experience.
• Ability to use a computer and CDK and other automotive systems.
• Excellent communication and follow up.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and manage daily deposits, and cash receipts.
• Responsible for all accounts receivables and work with vendors on collections.
• Reconcile cash schedule and assist in monthly closings.
• Post manual journal entries and other postings as required.
• Issue purchase orders for supplies and invoices and monitor automated PO system.
• Send invoices, coding invoices, and processing payments.
• Receipt of all monies received for dealership (sales/service/parts).
• Assist in completion of annual review/audit.
