Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Assembler for our Batavia, IL facility on the 2nd shift, 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., on a contract-to-hire basis. You will assemble, test, and document parts using hand tools and simple machine tools in a tightly controlled production environment.

Responsibilities include following prints, performing electrical tests, quality inspections, and active participation in continuous improvement with safety and teamwork as core values.

Qualifications

• Experience in production, assembly, or general manufacturing environments.
• Ability to read prints and shop paperwork.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.

Responsibilities

• Follow heater bending and assembly processes to produce high-quality parts.
• Perform electrical testing, including hi-pot and ohm meter tests.
• Conduct in-process inspections to ensure quality.
• Work safely and follow safety guidelines.
• Plan and prioritize daily tasks to meet production schedules.
• Use hand tools and simple machine tools to assemble components according to prints.
