Job summary

Classic CDJR of South Charlotte is seeking an enthusiastic and detail oriented Automotive Accounting admin. This role requires basic accounting skills, good administration, and strong computer proficiency, including familiarity with CDK or Reynolds. 10-key by touch is preferred.

The position offers benefits and room for growth within a family-owned dealership group. You will support the Controller and assist with a variety of accounting tasks in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive dealership accounting experience required.
• Proficiency with standard accounting software and Google Sheets/Excel.
• Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and grow.
• Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Post factory invoices.
• Reconcile factory statements.
• Print AR statements.
• Daily bank reconciliation.
• Complete check requests.
• Assist with warranty adjustment postings.
• Maintain assigned accounting schedules and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Post reserve statements.
• Backup Billing clerk and AP duties.
• Distribute intercompany mail.
• Maintain organized financial records and support the Controller.
• Assist with additional accounting duties as needed.
