Job summary

Fuyao is seeking a Tooling and Automation Engineer in Moraine, OH to design and implement tooling and automation solutions for Final Assembly operations.

The role requires 1–3 years of experience in production processes, a bachelor’s degree, and proficiency with UG, CATIA, AutoCAD, and quality tools. Candidates should be able to travel for supplier collaboration and support assembly improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above; production experience preferred.
• Proficient in standard manufacturing software and tools.
• Strong English communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, verify, and install tooling/fixtures per project timeline.
• Draft and update work instructions; maintain records.
• Lead suppliers; act as technical resource for projects.
• Organize cross-functional reviews for requirements and capability.
• Travel to suppliers for bring-up, qualification, testing, and support.
• Develop automated cells to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams for integration.
• Design complex processes; apply GR&R, SPC, Cp/Cpk for quality.
• Ensure manufacturability with current and new equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
