The Paslin Company is hiring a Machine Builder to join our mechanical assembly team in Shelby Township, MI. You will be responsible for layout and build of mechanical components used in automation tooling systems, working with engineering drawings and customer specifications.

The role requires hands-on experience in machine or tool building, a strong understanding of mechanical standards and a commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of machine or tool building experience.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and layout equipment per blueprints.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Analyze assembly blueprint and specifications to plan machine building operations.
• Fit and assemble tools and components using drawings and manuals.
• Verify parts conformance using calipers, gauges and micrometers; suggest adjustments as needed.
• Assemble, set up, and operate machines to verify function and conformance to specs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and ensure project success.
