Job summary

The Hartford is seeking an Automation Test Lead to develop automated testing frameworks and manage test data for continuous testing using Gen AI technologies. You will collaborate with vendors, IT leadership, and business units to align automation with IT strategy and promote adoption of automation across the value stream.

You will curate quality engineering standards, mentor QA teams, and report on key KPIs while enabling faster release readiness and improved quality metrics.

Qualifications

• Authorization to work in the U.S. required.
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of Quality Engineering experience.
• 5+ years leading QA teams.
• Experience with Java, JavaScript/Typescript, Python.
• Experience with automation tools and DevOps/RE tools.

Responsibilities

• Quality Engineering strategy execution and governance.
• Design and maintain automated test frameworks for complex systems.
• Hands-on test automation and problem solving across teams.
• Track quality metrics and drive measurable improvements.
• Lead agile testing within SAFe/Scaled Agile environments.
