Qualifications

• 8+ years of QA and Test Automation experience.
• 4+ years of Selenium automation experience.
• 2+ years of Appium mobile automation experience.
• Experience building automation frameworks from scratch.
• API testing experience using tools such as REST Assured or Postman.
• SQL and database validation experience.
• Experience leading QA or Automation teams.
• Test planning, estimation, reporting, and stakeholder communication experience.
• Experience with JIRA or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead testing initiatives across multiple projects and mentor the team.
• Define testing strategy and framework for web, mobile, API, and backend testing.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to ensure quality.
• Review code and troubleshoot automation issues.

Capgemini is currently looking for a Lead Test Automation Engineer to join a growing team supporting a large enterprise environment.

This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who enjoys staying close to the technology while also leading testing efforts, mentoring team members, and working directly with business and technical stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience building automation frameworks, leading QA initiatives, and supporting web, mobile, API, and backend testing efforts.

Required Experience:

• 8+ years of QA and Test Automation experience
• 4+ years of Selenium automation experience
• 2+ years of Appium mobile automation experience
• Experience building automation frameworks from scratch
• API testing experience using tools such as REST Assured or Postman
• SQL and database validation experience
• Experience leading QA or Automation teams
• Test planning, estimation, reporting, and stakeholder communication experience
• Experience with JIRA or similar tools

Nice to Have:

• Playwright
• Mabl
• Insurance or Financial Services experience
• Performance testing experience

We're looking for someone who can be both a technical leader and an individual contributor. This person should be comfortable reviewing code, troubleshooting automation issues, mentoring team members, and helping drive testing strategy across multiple initiatives.
