Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Lead Test Automation Engineer to join a growing team supporting a large enterprise environment. This hands-on leadership role combines technical depth with mentoring responsibilities and collaboration with business and technical stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will build automation frameworks, lead QA initiatives, and support web, mobile, API, and backend testing efforts across multiple initiatives. Join Capgemini to drive testing strategy and engineering excellence.

Qualifications

8+ years of QA and Test Automation experience.
4+ years of Selenium automation experience.
2+ years of Appium mobile automation experience.
Experience building automation frameworks from scratch.
API testing experience using tools such as REST Assured or Postman.
SQL and database validation experience.
Experience leading QA or Automation teams.
Test planning, estimation, reporting, and stakeholder communication experience.
Experience with JIRA or similar tools.

Responsibilities

Lead testing initiatives across multiple projects and mentor the team.
Define testing strategy and framework for web, mobile, API, and backend testing.
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to ensure quality.
Review code and troubleshoot automation issues.
