Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, is seeking a QA Automation Engineer in Providence, RI. You will develop automated tests, validate functional and performance requirements, and contribute to test planning, scheduling, and reporting.

Work closely with developers, product managers, and the shared services team to define automation components, execute tests across web front-end and microservice architectures, and support CI/CD with Selenium/JUnit in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on automated test coding experience using Java (or development experience with C++ or C#).
• Experience with CI/CD, BDD (Cucumber); Java frameworks such as Spring and Spring Boot; Serenity/Cucumber.

Responsibilities

• Participates in QA activities, including test case, requirements and design reviews; executes test events and documents test results.
• Develops automated test scripts to validate functional, technical, and performance requirements.
• Works with developers, shared services, and product managers to define automation components and validate requirements against software.
• Develops and executes tests on Web Front end and microservice architecture; performs DB, rules, logging, reporting, and UI validations.
• Assists with Scrum estimation and sizing to include test automation and CI requirements.
• Contributes to cross-functional teamwork within the Agile lifecycle.
