Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join an Agile team in Bismarck. You will design and implement automated tests for web front ends and microservices, collaborating with developers and product managers to validate requirements and quality across environments.

Required are at least 2 years of hands-on Java automation experience, familiarity with CI/CD and frameworks like Serenity and Cucumber, and strong SQL/REST API skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• minimum 2 years hands on automated test coding experience using Java (or development with C++ or C#).

Responsibilities

• Participates in QA activities including test case, requirements and design reviews.
• Develops automated test scripts to validate functional, technical, and performance requirements.
• Work closely with developers, shared services team and product managers to define the automated testing components.
• Drive test automation techniques and CI/CD integration.
• Develop using Java and execute automated tests on Web Front end and microservice architecture.
• Run test validations at DB, rules, logging, reporting, and UI levels.
• Assist with Scrum Team estimation of stories and sizing to include test automation and CI required.
• Contributes to cross-functional teamwork within Agile project lifecycle.
