Job summary

Polyfab LLC in Sheboygan, WI is seeking an Automation Engineer for concept, design, fabrication and installation of automation equipment (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic).

Responsibilities include developing concepts for automated manufacturing cells, fabricating jigs, creating electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic schematics, programming robotics and vision systems, with up to 25% travel for installation and customer support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three years hands-on maintenance/automation experience or relevant 2yr degree.
• PLC and robotics programming training or experience.
• 2D and 3D CAD training or experience.
• Vision inspection systems training or experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Concept, design, fabrication and installation of automation equipment (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic).
• Develop concepts and designs for automated manufacturing cells based on customer requirements.
• Fabricate jigs and fixtures and create electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
• Program robotics and vision inspection systems.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required for installation and support.
