Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, equivalent experience considered.
• Experience designing and developing custom automated equipment or machinery.
• Experience with robotic automation, robotic cells, and material handling systems.
• Strong proficiency with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, Siemens NX).
• Ability to take mechanical designs from concept through detailing, fabrication, assembly, and commissioning.
• Experience designing fixtures, tooling, machine structures, guarding, and other components.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom automated equipment from concept through production."
• Develop mechanical systems for robotic cells, automated assembly systems, and material handling equipment.
• Create 3D models, drawings, layouts, assemblies, and manufacturing documentation.
• Design robot end-of-arm tooling, fixtures, nests, and guarding.
• Coordinate with Controls, Electrical, Project Managers, and Manufacturing to deliver complete systems.
• Support prototype builds, assembly, debugging, and on-site installation.
