HyPro Inc in Waterford, Wisconsin is seeking an Automation Technician to design, fabricate, assemble and install automated systems including robotics, PLCs, and material handling. You will contribute to mechanical design, wiring, troubleshooting, and system monitoring while collaborating with team members to optimize production processes.

You will develop schematics, learn new technologies, and train operators.

Qualifications

• Technical/Engineering degree or proven industrial experience preferred.
• Experience in an Automation/Maintenance position in a Manufacturing environment is desirable.
• Mechanical or electromechanical knowledge with ability to understand complex machinery.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings for system design.
• Knowledge of machining, hydraulic and pneumatic concepts; familiarity with machining processes.
• CAD/SolidWorks experience is a plus.
• Ability to understand PLC Ladder logic and Robot programming code or equivalent software will become necessary as familiarity grows.
• At least 2 years of experience or any combination of education, training, and related work experience.

Responsabilités

• Communicate clearly within a team to design and develop automated systems to improve production efficiency.
• Fabricate components and assemble systems for automation projects.
• Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot automated systems.
• Learn new technologies and create schematics, drawings, and procedures for systems.
• Train operators and maintenance staff on automated systems.
• Provide technical support for CNC programming, tooling, fixtures, and robotic processes.
• Complete assignments on time and meet deadlines.
• Follow Safety guidelines and PPE standards.
• Occasional travel to satellite HyPro production facilities to install systems (10%-30% annually).
