Job summary

TIGA, a Tetra Tech Company, is seeking an experienced automation engineer to support field installations and optimization in the Texas area. The role covers up‑time support, commissioning of new facilities, and integration of control systems across operations.

Responsibilities include developing control strategies, updating P&IDs, and collaborating with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance and IT. A bachelor’s degree and 5–10 years in automation are required, with strong PLC and instrumentation

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is required.
5–10 years of automation and I&E experience expected.
Detail oriented with strong communication and organization.

Responsibilities

Perform routine field maintenance and commissioning/start-up of new facilities.
Respond to outages and provide automation support.
Install, program, start-up, and maintain automation and process control equipment.
Develop control strategies and contribute to P&ID and control specs.
Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, IT groups.
Follow MOC processes for PLC updates and changes.
Adhere to procedures, legislation and industry standards.
Pursue professional development and maintain discipline knowledge.
Work safely and report health and safety incidents.
Take on additional duties as required.
