Job summary

TIGA, a Tetra Tech Company, seeks a seasoned automation engineer to support outages and operate automation and process control equipment. You will develop control strategies and assist with P&IDs, control system specifications, and commissioning plans, while collaborating across operations and IT teams.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years with Wonderware and AB ControlLogix, strong instrumentation skills, and experience in Deepwater oil and gas facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or 5+ years relevant work experience.
• 5+ years with Wonderware and AB ControlLogix PLCs.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond and provide automation support during outages.
• Install, program, startup and maintain automation equipment.
• Develop control strategies and contribute to P&IDs and specifications.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance and IT groups.
• Follow MOC processes for PLC updates and changes.
• Adhere to procedures, legislation and industry standards.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and maintain process knowledge.
• Work safely and report health and safety concerns.
• Perform additional duties as required.
