Job summary

TIGA, a Tetra Tech Company, seeks an experienced Automation Engineer in Three Rivers, TX. You will implement and support PLC/RTU controls, instrument calibration, and Modbus networks across upstream to midstream oil & gas processes.

Role requires 5–10 years in automation, a bachelor’s in engineering, and strong communication. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5–10 years in automation and I&E experience.
• Detail-oriented with strong organization to meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine field maintenance, commissioning and start-up of new facilities.
• Respond and provide automation support during outages.
• Install, program, start-up and maintain automation and process control equipment.
• Develop control strategies and provide input to P&IDs, control system specs and diagrams.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance and IT groups.
• Follow MOC processes for PLC updates and changes.
• Adhere to procedures, legislation and industry standards.
• Maintain discipline knowledge and pursue professional development.
• Work safely and report health and safety incidents and concerns.
• Additional duties as required.
