Job summary

Truex Incorporated is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance at our Pawtucket, RI facility. You will troubleshoot simple issues, replace worn components, and respond to alarms following established procedures, while maintaining records and supporting production schedules.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic mechanical aptitude, the ability to read manuals, and good teamwork.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and equipment manuals.
• Willingness to learn automated equipment operation.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve simple mechanical and operational issues.
• Replace worn or damaged mechanical components as needed.
• Respond to machine alarms by following established procedures and escalating issues when necessary.
• Perform machine changeovers and adjustments according to production schedules.
• Maintain accurate production and maintenance records.
• Follow all safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.
• Work with maintenance and production teams to minimize equipment downtime.
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance.
