Job summary

RealTruck, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician 1 to handle building maintenance and a range of basic repairs, including troubleshooting and maintaining small tools and equipment. The role collaborates with the team to ensure safety and cleanliness across facilities.

Required are a High School Diploma or GED and at least 2 years of experience with mechanical systems; forklift experience is preferred. This is a full-time, on-site role supporting our Tennessee operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of working with mechanical systems, tools, or machines required.
• Previous forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete building maintenance and repairs (restrooms, lighting, HVAC systems, painting, pneumatic systems).
• Troubleshoot and maintain small tools and equipment.
• Partner with Maintenance Tech II for preventative maintenance (PM).
• Assist in building new fixtures, office equipment, and other necessary tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Support facilities team to ensure a safe and clean environment.

• Troubleshoot and maintain small tools and equipment.
• Partner with Maintenance Tech II for preventative maintenance (PM). This could include changing filters, oiling parts, minor electrical repairs, etc.
• Assist in building new fixtures, office equipment, and other necessary tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Support facilities team as needed to ensure a safe and clean work environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of working with mechanical systems, tools, or machines required.
• Previous forklift experience preferred.

Skills, Abilities, And Knowledge

• Basic computer skills, ability to add, subtract, divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions.
