Ideal Tridon Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Auburn Hills, MI plant. You will perform preventive maintenance on motors, conveyors, and production equipment, troubleshoot issues, and maintain inventory levels.

The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and teamwork, reporting to the shift supervisor and following all safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or completion of a qualified apprenticeship program.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of related work experience.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Knowledge of inventory systems and ERP software.
• Capable of using scan guns and basic math skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Hilo certified or able to become certified in operating lift equipment.

Responsibilities

• Completes preventive maintenance on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyors, and production machines.
• Follow diagrams, manuals, and engineering specs.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and listen for problems.
• Use precision measuring and testing instruments.
• Maintain equipment, parts, and supply inventory.
• Prepare maintenance reports and document actions.

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Auburn Hills, MI Plant.

Summary

Responsible for ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment; locating the source of problems and observing mechanical devices; removing defective parts and dismantling equipment; determining changes in dimensional requirements; adjusting functional parts of devices and control instruments, performing routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance; fabricating repair parts; maintaining equipment, parts, and supply inventory; and providing mechanical maintenance information and reports. This position will report to the shift supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Completes preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.
• Follows diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specifications.
• Troubleshoots malfunctions and listening for problems.
• Uses precision measuring and testing instruments.
• Uses hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools.
• Use of rulers, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
• Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.
• Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques and monitoring compliance.
• Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
• Maintains equipment, parts, and supply inventory.
• Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
• Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.
• Prepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
• Maintaining safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Additional responsibilities include machine and auxiliary equipment preventative measures.

Requirements
